Labor Day 08

This past weekend we went camping at one of our favorite places, Palisades State Park in Sterling, Utah. It is so much fun and there is so much to do. We had a fun group of friends along. There was us, Keith and Leslee Wilson, Bob and Vicki Taylor, Nana and Papa, and Phil and Marci Simons and their kids. The guys got up early at 6 am and went golfing on Friday and Saturday, then went on a four wheeler ride afterwards on both days. The first day Will and I met them up at six mile pond and Jared and Kaylee got to fishing and they caught lots of fish. As soon as they would throw there poles out there would be a fish on. Jared rode is four wheeler up the mountain, and then they put it in the back of the truck so he could ride with dad on the way back. (he was a little slow on the way up). The second day Bob rented a canoe and he and Jared spent most of the morning out on the canoe while the other guys played golf (Bob is not a golfer). When they went on a four wheeler ride, Jared rode with Bob, and then later Bob rode on the back and let Jared drive his four wheeler and Jared thought he was on top of the world. The kids had so much fun riding bikes around the campground, but they really loved going to the lake and catchings toads. They must have caught a hundred of them (of course Jared brought them all home). It was nice being with great friends having lots of fun.
